Plan, design, and build your Pokopia island before you place a single block

Buildopia is a free Pokopia island planner and 3D building studio for Pokémon Pokopia fans. Design layouts, plan habitats, and visualise your island — walls, flooring, roofing, doors, windows, terrain and more — on a true 3D grid. Export your materials list straight into the game. No download, no account.

Everything you need to plan, design, and build

Buildopia is a full Pokopia island planner, base designer, and habitat layout tool — all running in your browser, no install required. Plan your build floor by floor, design Pokémon habitats, map out your island layout, and export a complete materials list before you place a single block in-game.

Full 3D viewport

Rotate, pan, and zoom a live Three.js scene. Multiple viewports, screenshot export, and presentation mode included.

Every block type

Walls, flooring, roofing, stairs, slopes, pillars, doors, windows, borders, and liquid — with dozens of materials each.

Layer sheets

Export a top-down PNG of each floor level, or a combined sheet, plus a full materials legend and resource list.

Terrain generator

Islands, volcanoes, ridges, ravines, floating islands — with biome presets, caves, ocean, and lake placement.

Community builds

Browse, like, and load builds shared by other players. Share your own in one click from inside the builder.

No install needed

Runs entirely in-browser. Install it as a PWA for offline access — nothing downloaded to your device by default.

Built for the job, not bolted together

Spreadsheets can track resources. Screenshot grids can sketch a layout. But neither shows you what it actually looks like — or tells you exactly what you need to build it. Buildopia does all three in one place.

True 3D — not a top-down grid

Orbit, tilt, and inspect your build from any angle in a full Three.js scene. Wall heights, roof pitches, and floor layouts all visible at once — exactly as they'll look in-game.

Every material, accurately rendered

Hundreds of in-game materials — walls, flooring, roofing, windows, doors, fences, nature — rendered with correct textures, geometry, and colour tints so what you see is what you get.

Materials list, ready to use

Export a complete count of every block you've placed — by material, by shape, or broken down into raw crafting ingredients — as a file or clipboard copy, before you gather a single resource in-game.

No account. No waiting.

Open the builder and start placing blocks immediately. No sign-up, no email confirmation, no install. Your builds save to your own device and stay there.

Floor-by-floor planning

Build layer by layer with Auto or Manual layer modes, then use Blueprint Reveal to peel back upper floors and inspect exactly what's happening at each level.

Plan first, commit later

Try a different roof material, swap an entire wall colour with Bulk Paint, or generate a fresh terrain — then undo any of it instantly. Experiment without cost.

A Pokopia planner and builder, made by a fan

Buildopia started as a personal project to fill a gap: there wasn't a good way to plan Pokopia island builds, design habitats, or map out layouts before committing hundreds of blocks in-game. What began as a simple island planning grid has grown into a full 3D building studio and design tool — with a terrain generator, guided tours, a community gallery, and a detailed help library.

Everything is free. There are no paywalls, no accounts, and no data collected beyond what's needed to run the community features. The builder saves your work to your own device.

If the site has been useful to you, a small donation via Buy Me a Coffee keeps the hosting running and helps motivate future features. It's genuinely appreciated.

Hi, I'm Robenshtiel

I'm an indie developer and Pokopia fan who built Buildopia as a side project. I handle all of the design, development, and support solo — so updates come when they come, and I genuinely read every message and bug report that comes in through the contact page.

If you find a bug, have a feature idea, or just want to show me something you built, I'd love to hear from you. The Discord is the fastest way to reach me.

Come say hi

The Discord is where build ideas get shared, bugs get caught early, and new features get discussed before they ship. Beta access is also handed out there first.
